Jacqueline Sampah-Adjei, Manager of Business Development at Constromart Africa, has been chosen to join the FIDIC Africa Integrity, Quality, Risk and Standards (IQRS) Committee. Jacqueline, who also serves as Vice President of the Future Leaders Group of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA) – a Member Association (MA) of FIDIC Africa – is an alumna of the FIDIC Future Leaders Management course. She holds an MSc in Engineering from the University of Leeds and a bachelor’s degree in science from KNUST. Jacqueline has been a significant contributor to industry knowledge and has presented her work at both the FIDIC Global and Africa Infrastructure Conferences.

Ms. Sampah-Adjei, an Environmental Engineer by profession, has been involved in the implementation of major infrastructure improvement projects funded by the World Bank, as well as bilateral development assistance programs by the GIZ, AFD, USAID, and the UK Government. She is enthusiastic about the new challenge and the contributions she can make to advance engineering and infrastructure development practice in Africa.

FIDIC Africa (formerly known as the Group of African Member Associations – GAMA) of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, was established in 1993 and provides a platform for collaboration and enhanced linkages among FIDIC Member Associations in Africa.

The IQRS committee’s main focus is on upholding integrity, promoting quality, managing risks, and setting standards in the engineering and consulting industry. It places a strong emphasis on ethics and best practices to raise standards and build trust. The committee aims to address issues such as corruption, uniformity, ethics, and best practices in service delivery, decision-making, and ethics.
