Marking a Decade of Impact: Constromart’s visit to Kpong Ahodzo RC JHS

As part of the activities to mark our 10th anniversary, the team from Accra visited the Kpong Ahodzo RC Junior High School in the Eastern Region. This visit not only aimed to commemorate our milestone but also to interact with young learners and teachers, as well as present essential supplies to support the school community. The event was graced by a special guest of honour, the distinguished Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann, Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences at the University of Ghana and host of the National Science and Math Quiz.

In her interaction with the students, Prof. Kaufmann shared inspiring words, urging them to persevere in their learning and aspire to become problem solvers in their communities. Her presence and words of wisdom left an indelible mark on these young learners, instilling them with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.

Recognizing the importance of quality instruction, Prof. Kaufmann also conducted a separate session with the teachers, focusing on innovative approaches to teaching Mathematics and Science. By exploring new instructional methods and demonstrations, she aimed to equip the teachers with effective tools to nurture a love for these subjects in their students. This pragmatic approach will undoubtedly contribute to the overall educational development of the students at Kpong Ahodzo RC JHS.

Our visit to Kpong Ahodzo RC JHS demonstrated our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our passion for promoting education. The school community, including the students, teachers, and two Circuit Supervisors of Education for the Lower Manya area, joined together to express their heartfelt appreciation for Constromart’s generous gesture. The presentation of essential items played a pivotal role in supporting the everyday academic and personal needs of the students. Constromart’s donation included exercise books, sanitary pads, personal sewing kits for 160 girls, and refreshments.
