This research highlights how Ghana’s rapid urbanization demands inclusive urban planning to drive resilient and sustainable infrastructure. Drawing from case studies in Accra and Kumasi, the paper identifies systemic gaps, such as underutilized facilities and climate vulnerability, that hinder equitable urban development. By incorporating community-driven approaches, adaptive technologies, and traditional leadership, the study proposes strategies to address urban challenges effectively. It advocates for participatory frameworks and policy reforms to align Ghana’s urban transformation with global sustainability goals, ensuring no community is left behind.
