Constromart has been selected by Ghana’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to oversee the planning and management of E-Waste collection, dismantling, and holding sites in seven different locations throughout the country. This initiative is a part of the Africa Environmental Health and Pollution Management Programme (AEHPMP) and aims to reduce exposure to mercury and unintentional Persistent Organic Pollutants (uPOPs) in Ghana.

The selected sites for the facilities are strategically located in the Greater Accra Region, Eastern Region, Ashanti Region, Bono Region, and the Northern Region. These facilities will play a crucial role in reducing environmental pollution and promoting sustainable waste management practices.

With an anticipated timeline of ten weeks for the first phase, the project will commence with the development of architectural and engineering designs for the various facilities. This includes model designs for the collection, dismantling, and holding of e-waste, setting the stage for an environmentally conscious and sustainable solution.
