On August 26 and 27, Constromart Africa hosted a two-day specialized training program aimed at enhancing traffic engineering skills in Ghana. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with Kyneesis Engineering, focused on critical topics such as Traffic Impact Analysis, Signal Timing, and Microsimulation.

Led by Ing. Yolanda Oliver-Commey, PE, PTOE, a certified PTV trainer from the United States, the sessions equipped professionals with advanced methodologies and tools necessary to address complex traffic management challenges. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key timing parameters essential for effective intersection signal control and learned how to assess the impact of new developments on road traffic. These skills are vital for optimizing traffic flow and ensuring infrastructure development aligns with urban growth.

Additionally, the training introduced attendees to microscopic traffic flow simulation using PTV Vissim, enabling them to evaluate and optimize transport infrastructure performance while making informed, data-driven decisions.
