Constromart Africa Champions Innovation at ATU Career & Job Fair 2025

Constromart Africa proudly participated in the maiden Accra Technical University (ATU) Innovation and Career Fair, held from 30th to 31st July 2025 under the theme “Career Connect: Fostering Employability and Skills Development through Industry-Academia Collaboration.” As an official sponsor, Constromart reaffirmed its commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry while advancing its Community Impact Initiative focused on sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our company was ably represented by Ing. Nana Osei Akumia Jnr, Manager for Quality Assurance, who served as Chairman of the Panel of Judges, overseeing the evaluation of student-led innovations across diverse sectors including AI-powered healthcare solutions, smart engineering applications, sustainable food innovations, and hospitality advancements. Nana delivered closing remarks on behalf of our Managing Director, Ing. Edward Melomey, applauding the students’ ingenuity and the university’s efforts in nurturing talent.

Also representing Constromart was Jacqueline Sampah-Adjei, Manager for Partnerships & Business Development, who delivered a presentation showcasing the firm’s work across engineering, advisory, and project management. Her presentation highlighted how Constromart is contributing to infrastructure development and societal impact through innovation, mentorship, and inclusive growth.

Throughout the two-day event, our team engaged directly with students, reviewed their concept designs and prototypes, and offered feedback aimed at helping them refine their ideas for real-world application. Joining the team was Cheltia Lartey, who played an instrumental role in coordinating Constromart’s participation and facilitating interactions at our exhibition booth.

Our partnership with ATU reflects our long-standing belief that early exposure, structured mentorship, and industry engagement are key to preparing graduates who are not only employable but impactful. As part of our Graduate Trainee Programme, we continue to recruit from technical universities including ATU and equip young professionals to contribute meaningfully to national development.

Constromart Africa remains committed to supporting initiatives that harness youth innovation, encourage entrepreneurship, and foster sustainable solutions for Ghana and beyond.
