2023 GhIE Annual Conference and and 53rd AGM

Our colleagues had the privilege of attending the 2023 GhIE Annual Conference and 53rd Annual General Meeting.

During the event held in Takoradi, Emmanuel Bamfo Asirifi, Antoinette Salma Gabby-Hayes, Jacqueline Sampah-Adjei, and Beryl Adormaa Buanya showcased their expertise by presenting two exceptional papers.

Emmanuel delved into the fascinating world of geospatial information technology and its application in addressing flood challenges. He exemplified this through case studies from our ongoing World Bank funded project focused on flood resilience in Accra.

On the other hand, Jacqueline shed light on the critical subject of Environmental, Social, Health, and Safety (ESHS) compliance monitoring for sustainable road construction. Her case study revolved around the Tatale-Zabzugu-Yendi-Tamale road reconstruction, another notable project financed by the World Bank under the Transport Sector Improvement Project in Ghana.

We couldn’t be prouder of our colleagues for their thought-provoking presentations at this prestigious event. Their contribution reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing engineering knowledge and finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Congratulations once again to our talented colleagues!
